Join us on March 14 from 11am–7pm as Main Street turns GREEN for the luckiest festival of the year in Downtown Johnson City. Main Street Days – St. Paddy’s Day Edition brings a full day of festive fun to the heart of downtown.

This free, family-friendly street festival features local vendors, live music, family activities, and plenty of St. Patrick’s Day cheer. It’s the perfect way to spend the day supporting small businesses, enjoying great music, and getting lucky with friends and family. Grab your green and join us! 🍀

  • Main Street Days - St. Paddy's Day Edition is happening Saturday, March 14, from 11AM–7PM right in the heart of Downtown Johnson City along East Main Street.

  • Nope! The event is free to attend. Bring cash or card to shop with vendors, grab food, and enjoy a drink from one of our downtown restaurants or bars.

  • Main Street Days was created with the mission of celebrating all things local. While the original festival takes place each October, the event has become such a favorite that we brought it back with a St. Paddy’s Day twist. This one-day festival blends Irish-inspired fun with the best of downtown, featuring 100+ local vendors, live music, family activities, local eats, and special promotions from downtown merchants. It’s a full day of shopping small, celebrating community, and enjoying Downtown Johnson City in your best GREEN!

  • Yes! Enjoy live performances from local and regional artists on multiple stages throughout the day.

  • Since Main Street Days celebrates all things local, we encourage everyone to dine at one of our incredible downtown restaurants and bars. Many will be offering specials throughout the day, and you can even grab a to-go beverage to enjoy as you stroll through the event in the Downtown Social District.

  • The Kids Zone presented by Johnson City Parks & Recreation will feature hands-on activities, interactive games, and a downtown St. Paddy's day-themed scavenger hunt designed to keep kids entertained while exploring all that Downtown Johnson City has to offer.

  • Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome! Please be mindful of crowds and the weather.

  • Main Street Days is rain or shine! In case of severe weather, updates will be shared on our website and social media pages.

  • There’s plenty of free parking in the downtown area — including the Founders Park lot, State of Franklin lot, and the downtown parking garage.
