This permission is worldwide, royalty-free, and perpetual, unless limited by law.
3) Participant Content + Comments
If you post, submit, tag, message, or otherwise provide content connected to an event (photos, videos, reviews, captions, comments, testimonials, etc.), you grant CDJC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display that content for CDJC-related purposes, with or without attribution where practical.
4) Information Sharing
You understand and agree that CDJC may share participant contact information (including name, email, and phone number) as follows:

CDJC does not promise confidentiality for information you voluntarily provide for event participation.
5) Social Media and Public Conduct
CDJC events are community-facing and may involve public venues and public online discussion. You agree that you will not, in connection with a CDJC event:
-
Harass, threaten, defame, dox, discriminate against, or encourage violence toward any person or group.
-
Post or share content that is unlawful, obscene, or knowingly false in a way that harms CDJC, event partners, volunteers, sponsors, or downtown businesses.
-
Disrupt event operations, interfere with staff/volunteers, or create unsafe conditions.

7) Event Operations
Events may be photographed/recorded in public-facing spaces. Schedules, venues, and programming may change, be postponed, or be canceled.
8) Eligibility and Minors
If you are under 18, you may participate only with a parent/guardian’s permission. A parent/guardian attending with a minor grants the releases above on the minor’s behalf.
9) Conduct and Removal
CDJC expects respectful behavior. CDJC may deny entry or remove anyone for disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or harassing behavior. CDJC may also disqualify participants from contests, promotions, or giveaways if participant conduct undermines event integrity or safety.
10) Assumption of Risk + Liability Limitation
You assume ordinary risks of attending public events. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CDJC is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation, except where caused by CDJC’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
